Black Friday ¡how I love you!
MediaMarkt contacted us to create a Black Friday social media campaign that could compete with the immense amount of advertising actions that arise as a result of this event.
To take on this challenge, we came up with the idea of revisiting an iconic figure in Spanish humor, such as Fernando Esteso, and taking the opportunity to create a jingle version of his song ‘La Ramona.’ A guaranteed success. We adapted the lyrics and content to turn it into a more on-trend jingle with a technology theme, creating a very amusing contrast with our protagonist. All of this, combined with a great green screen background and some internet-native Lo-Fi graphics. This allowed us to tackle the main challenges proposed by this project: having a creative idea that could stand out in a context of such advertising saturation and bringing back to the forefront a recognized and beloved character to connect with the audience.
Furthermore, we amplified the campaign with an influencer campaign where they reacted to and commented on the catchy tune, simultaneously promoting MediaMarkt’s Black Friday offers.
